Prague bourse weakens, pulled down by CEZ, KB, Moneta

Prague, Sept 25 (CTK) - The Prague Stock Exchange (BCPP) weakened today, its headline PX index falling by 0.32 percent to 2,303.98 points, pulled down by a decrease in the price of shares of energy company CEZ, Komercni banka and Moneta Money Bank, according to data on the exchange's website.

Half of the 12 blue chips on the Prague Stock Exchange weakened. Among the weakening securities were those traded in the largest volumes. CEZ, the most traded issue, fell by 0.23 percent to Kc1,276 per share.

Komercni banka depreciated by 0.68 percent to Kc1,030 crowns and Moneta erased 1.33 percent to Kc163.20.

The exchange's losses were mitigated by a strengthening of the second most traded issue, the Erste banking group, which rose by 0.50 percent to Kc2,030 per share.

Engineering company Doosan Skoda Power improved the most, adding 2.23 percent to Kc459.

On the other hand, the biggest fall was suffered by the shares of arms manufacturer Colt CZ, which fell by 1.40 percent to Kc773.
